in animal center management. She has worked at boarding facilities, veterinarians
and zoos throughout her life. She is certified as an advance kennel tech by the ABKA.
Rebecca is an animal lover and a vegetarian.
We are honoured to have her on our team. |
Mari
Mari is an incredibly joyous addition to our family. Mari has several
cats and would just love dogs if her landlord allowed them...Mari is
studying to become a Dog Obedience Trainer/Instructor. And yes, that is a
bubble wand in her hand. |
Sylvester
Sylvester has proven to be an extraordinarily reliable member of our
team. He has never called in sick once! The pups love it when Sylvester
takes breaks in the play rooms. He is an excellent pillow! Sylvester played
too many video games as a child and likes to be called the "beastmaster." |
Joelle
Joelle worked at an animal hospital on the mainland prior to
working for Whiskers. Joelle is very intuitive. She has studied several
healing modalities. She has cats, dogs, and horses of her own. |
John "Jack"
This wizard played a key role in building Whiskers from the ground up. A "jack" of all trades, Jack has helped us fence, build, paint, plumb, etc.
Jack worked at another kennel in Pennsylvania. Jack never gets sick and is very physically fit. You might see him biking around Lihue. Jack is also an artist and horse whisperer. |
Bill "Yoda"
Bill is owned by one dog. Dogs like Bill. Bill is also a meticulous painter and construction guru.
Bill is a walking miracle. After an accident, Bill was left disabled. Bill was told he would never walk again. After six years in a wheel chair, he proved them wrong. Bill's motto is no pain no gain. |
April
April is a fabulous all-around worker. April is good at staying centered. She has a very calm influence on all of us.
April works well with animals and people. She helps us with everything from pet care to landscaping. April is an avid surfer. |
Ray
Ray is our electric Buddha. When he says, "Let there be light," there is light. Ray has two mastiffs. They are affectionately referred to as the "monster puppies."
Ray is a very kind and humble human being. Be prepared: he loves to talk about wrestling! |
